After 22 years of being Fresno’s most sought-after head teppanyaki chef, Somsack (or as his customers referred to him as “Beer”) dreamed of manning his own teppanyaki operation. He wanted to make the consistency and quality of his teppanyaki cooking accessible to clients on the go.

    This dream came into fruition in the form of Hashi Teppan.

      Hashi, or 橋, translates to “bridge” in Japanese.

 

    This teppanyaki food truck serves as the bridge between fine teppanyaki dining and accessibility; and also the bridge between Beer’s dream and its conception.
